Baby Seats / Booster Seats
It is complusory to have the correct support for children in the vehicles, you may bring your own baby seat or boosters to install in the rental cars. Do check with your airline for restrictions on bringing baby seats on the plane.

Car Rental Ireland provides a selection of baby seats that are from birth to 3 years.

GPS Navigation
Having some form of guided navigation will make your trip an enjoyable experience without getting lost. You can choose extras by renting a GPS from car rental companies which they will install in the vehicles upon collection or alternatively use your mobile phone. 55% of customers said this was essential for driving in Ireland.

Additional Driver
Take the stress out by sharing the driving with a friend or a family member would make it easier for your trip in case one of you gets tired or would like to enjoy the views more. The additional driver will need to have a full licence and added to the rental should this be the plan.

Cancellation Cover
This cover protects you in the event that you are forced to cancel your booking due to any circumstances. If the cancellation cover has been purchased, and you cancel at least 24 hours before your pickup time, all charges less the Cancellation Cover will be refunded

Terminal pick up
Terminal pick up is available, collecting your at Airport instead of the shuttle bus to the car rental depot. To avail of the terminal pick up service, you must provide your flight arrival number.

One Way Drop Off
One way drop off charges for car hire varies in the car rental companies’ policies. In Ireland, there is generally a no one way car rental without one way drop off fee. When you rent a car with Car Rental Ireland, there are different charges for one way drop offs depending on the location you are collecting from and dropping off.
